Schedule: 3×12 hour shifts
Salary Range: $22 – $25/hour
Overview:
We are looking for dedicated Veterinary Technicians to join our 24/7 emergency team. You’ll support veterinarians in all aspects of clinical care, diagnostics, and client interaction, while maintaining a clean, organized, and compassionate hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in exams, treatments, and surgeries
- Administer medications, monitor anesthesia, and provide post-op care
- Perform lab tests, X-rays, and diagnostics
- Educate and communicate with clients empathetically
- Maintain surgical equipment and ensure clean facilities
- Support inventory, organization, and emergency readiness
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year in ER or fast-paced veterinary setting (preferred)
- Proficiency in technical procedures and medical protocols
- Compassionate communication and patient care skills
- Physically able to lift and handle animals of various sizes
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, or be on-call
